*Make and maintain friendships 

*Understand the rules of the classroom and why they are important

*Use age-appropriate language and topics

A big part of our grades this year is making sure we are a good friend to others, we share, take turns, respect rules and each other and that we are a fair player. We are looking for age-appropriate conversations, speech patterns.

 

Kindergartners should be able to follow 3 step directions without them begin repeated. Example: Unpack your backpack! Then, use the restroom/wash your hands! Last, pick a free choice center. Children should be able to focus on their work with little to no distractions and ask for help when it is needed.
