Volunteering at GHE

Volunteers are THE most important part of GHE. There are many ways you can get involved at our school. Here are a few: Classroom Centers, PTA Events/Board Member, Library Helpers, Field Trips, etc. In order to be a volunteer at our school, WCPSS asks that each person complete a background check. You can do this right at our school on Meet Your Teacher or Open House. In the beginning of the year it may take a few weeks to a month to get your clearance letter. Please sign-up as soon as you can.  As soon as you are cleared you will will receive a letter from me stating how you can sign up to help in our class :) 

The benefits to being a volunteer...are endless. You get to have a front row seat to how your child is doing in school, you get to witness amazing teaching strategies to help you at home and most importantly you help each child find their confidence as they start their school career!
